why some blackjack tables have dealers who actually chat with you.
It’s wild how some blackjack dealers act like they’re your new best friend and others treat you like you just asked them to lend you rent money. Sat at this one table and the dealer was chatting about Netflix, her dog, even gave me slot recommendations. Another table, dude barely made eye contact. I get they’re supposed to keep it professional but it’s so hit or miss.
Does anyone else feel like the chatty dealers are trying to make you drop your guard? Like, you’re splitting eights and they’re asking about your favorite pizza topping. I kind of like the banter, but then I start forgetting my “don’t chase” rule. Wondering if anyone plays better when the table's totally quiet or if the chatter actually helps some people focus.
