Unibet weekly reloads

Every week it is the same thing. You get the reload, then you look at the cap and the wagering and it is barely worth clicking. By the time you run it through, the upside is tiny unless you force volume you probably were not going to play anyway, and then it stops being a bonus and starts being a chore...

On paper it looks decent because they can say weekly reload, but the actual value is thin. If it is 25% with a low max and the eligible games are the usual watered down list, what are we even doing here. I am not complaining because I expect free money, I am complaining because this promo is sold like it matters when it really does not.

Should I even bother opting in to these anymore, or do most people just ignore them unless they were depositing anyway? I have used enough of them now to know the pattern, and I do not see how this is meant to keep anyone interested.

I quit opting in. If you have to force volume, it's just work with extra steps.

Quick way to decide: bonus amount minus (wagering required x house edge of what you'll play). If that's positive and you were depositing anyway, opt in; if not, skip it.

Example with a 25% reload on a 100 deposit = 25 bonus. If wagering is 20x the bonus on slots around 96% RTP, you wager 500 and expect to lose about 4% of it, so 20. Net value roughly +5, small but positive. If the same 20x applies to deposit plus bonus, that's 2,500 wagered and an expected loss near 100, so the bonus costs you money on average.

Also check the max bet, expiry, and whether the eligible games have a lower RTP than the ones you normally play, since that raises the expected loss. Most of the time a capped reload is only worth it if the wagering is on the bonus alone and low. This breakdown of what a reload is worth after the terms goes through the same maths in more detail.
