Back to Casino & Sportsbook Reviews

Betfair exchange review and whether this model is really different.

so i’ve been poking around the betting exchange model, kind of trying to figure out if it’s actually as different as people say or just another way to skin the cat. i get the no traditional bookie part and the peer-to-peer thing with laying bets but when you actually dig in, are we really talking about a better deal or just a different flavor of juice? opportunity cost is weird here since you lose promos and free bets you’d get at sportsbooks but maybe better odds make up for that, not sure. i guess i’m just trying to see if it ends up being better long term if you’re actually picking your spots, or if it just feels that way.

also noticed liquidity can be kind of thin on weird markets or late games, so if you’re betting obscure stuff, you might be stuck. on the flip, no bet limits is a plus. anybody else swapped over to mostly exchange play? is it really worth giving up the occasional casino bonus to get more control on prices?
