does crypto casino house edge actually matter when you're losing anyway

I keep seeing debates about house edge on crypto sites, like people obsess over whether it’s 1.5% or 2.5%. I get that over time it matters, but what about if you’re just dumping cash and on a cold streak? I feel like no matter what the edge is, some days it’s just not happening and that extra percent doesn’t really matter in the moment. Maybe over thousands of spins or hands it adds up, but for most of us that doesn’t feel relevant when you’re down five bets in a row.

I’m mostly into blackjack and poker but I’ll hit slots or roulette for fun sometimes. Whenever I run bad, I start wondering if any of these stats matter or if it’s all just luck and short-term swings. Curious if anyone actually feels a difference in house edge when things aren’t going their way. Do you guys stick to low edge games or just play what feels right even if the math says not to?

when i’m on a cold roulette run, that tiny house edge doesn’t make the loss feel different, but over months i notice the bleed is softer on low edge games. i go by mood in the moment, but if i look back, sticking to classics like blackjack or roulette voisins du zero definitely keeps me in the game longer. ever gone back over old session logs to see if your worst nights are always on the higher edge slots?
