Auto bet risky?

Been noticing a lot of folks talking about using auto bet features on live tables, especially for roulette and blackjack. I can see how it saves clicks and keeps the momentum up, but it feels off to let the computer repeat bets without reviewing in between. My old habit is to tweak bet amounts or switch things up after each hand, not just for superstition but because runs and streaks hardly ever stay the same.

I’m trying to recalibrate my approach since some games move pretty quick these days. Curious if anyone actually sticks with auto for sessions longer than a few rounds, or if it just ends up piling on losses faster than manual play.
