Is Funky Time just Crazy Time with a disco filter or genuinely better?

I mostly stick to live blackjack so these wheel games all blur together for me a bit, but I was looking at Funky Time because Crazy Time has been annoying me with all the dead spins. It looks nicer sure, more going on and all that, but that dont mean much if the paytable side is the same!

What I cant tell is does Funky Time have any real edge over Crazy Time for the player (even just in how the bonus rounds land), or is it just the same game dressed up different?
