can you actually link your bank account to speed up deposits

I keep seeing these popups lately asking me to link my bank account directly instead of doing the regular card or transfer thing. Supposedly it makes deposits faster, but I’m kinda skeptical about the whole idea. For poker and blackjack, I don’t wanna mess around and get locked out of my funds if something goes sideways with the connection or my bank flags it.

Slots move fast enough already, so the extra speed isn’t what’s making or breaking my night. Has anyone tried this and ended up getting stuck with holds or extra verification hoops after? Seems like maybe it just gives casinos more of your info. Wondering if it’s actually worth the hassle or just another pitch. Would rather hear some stories before I even touch it.
