min cash pain

min cashing deep runs in tourneys always messes with my mood. busted just short of something big again last night and yeah, technically it's a win, but honestly after hours of play it just feels like eating a stale cracker when i wanted the whole cake. anybody else get more annoyed with min cashing than flat busting? i know it's a bankroll boost and better than nothing, but it's like the gap between min and a real payday makes it sting more.

can't decide if i should just avoid the bigger fields or keep firing and try not to care. been playing mostly slots and live dealer lately, so maybe i'm just out of the right mindset for tourneys right now. your call
