Cascading wins lag

so lately, whenever i hit a streak of cascading wins on some of these newer slot games, the animations just crawl. like, i get that big chains are fun to watch, but it’s laggy enough that it kills the buzz a bit. i don’t really care about graphics so much, just want the thing to keep up with the action.

anyone else noticing this slowdown? is this just on my end or is it a thing on these games in general now? your call. does tweaking any settings even help or am i stuck with it?
