DO SLOTS CHANGE AFTER A PLAYER LEAVES?

I used to wonder if a slot changes after someone has been playing for a long time. From what I understand, online slots do not normally change their odds just because one player leaves.

The next player is still playing based on the game's system. I would not assume a machine is suddenly better just because someone else lost before me.
