anyone successfully arbitrage sportsbooks or do they catch you immediately

I keep seeing posts about people pulling off arbitrage with sportsbooks but every time I’ve tried it, I get limited almost instantly or my bets just get rejected outright. I’m not even throwing massive amounts, just smallish amounts on clear value splits. Is there something I’m missing here, or do these sites just have bots scanning everything now? I get it if you’re smashing lines before they move, but even waiting till odds stabilize I feel like I’ve got a target on my back.

Honestly, sometimes I wonder if it’s more hassle than it’s worth for a few bucks and the headache of moving money around constantly. I’d rather grind roulette for comps than deal with the risk of a locked account. Curious how others keep flying under the radar or if the era of easy arb is just gone.

Pushed this route once thinking smaller bets would sneak through. Wasn’t even an hour before I got slapped with limits across the board. In poker you can bluff tight once in a while, but with sportsbooks, there’s no art left. Unless you thrive on dodging account flags and wiring funds, it’s just rinse and repeat stress. These days, I keep my risk for spots that feel actually fun or sustainable.

That frustration comes through loud and clear. Honestly, outside of Betonline, every book I’ve touched either burned me or started limiting bets the second my action looked sharp. The bots are everywhere now, scanning for that pattern like hawks. Trying to sustain this long term feels more stressful than even chasing streaks on slots. If the fun’s getting drowned out by stress, maybe it’s worth scaling back and playing the long game somewhere else.

small bet sizes help but rotating accounts and mixing in promos matters more, everygame is the only book that hasn’t flagged me for bonus play

moving money fast enough for arbs just isn’t sustainable with most sites locking you down at the first hint. if you’re after longevity, i’d honestly skip chasing micro-edges altogether and lean into recurring promos on jackbit. not glamorous, but cycling their bonuses grows the roll without a bot flagging you every week.

If you want to actually keep arbing without eating a limit right away, stick to BetUS and pick lines that aren’t obvious opposites at the same time. Even then, you’ll hit friction. This cat-and-mouse dance makes blackjack sessions feel downright peaceful.

If your edge is tiny, fees and crypto delays will eat it before the limits even hit. I used to treat arbing like tuning a slot machine for perfect payout, but the moment gas fees crept up or a book paused withdrawals, the upside was toast. Honestly, I switched focus to sites like Xbet for straight-up value and a little less whack-a-mole with accounts. Anyone here actually keep a healthy bankroll cycling, or is everyone hitting the same wall?
