Sports betting round robin: why do some sites make this so confusing

Trying to mess around with round robin bets lately and some sites make it a nightmare to set up. I get the basic idea - breaking your picks into every possible parlay combo - but sometimes the options and payouts look so convoluted. Half the time I’m not even sure what bet size actually gets distributed, or how much I’m risking until I hit confirm. And some sites throw around terms like “legs” and “ways” without explaining if I’m doing two-teamers or three-teamers.

Am I missing something basic here, or do sportsbooks just want this to feel complicated so we misjudge the risk? Also, has anyone noticed if certain ones handle round robins clearer than others? It almost makes me want to stick to single parlays unless I really feel like breaking out the spreadsheet. How do you guys keep track of what you’re actually betting with these?

Feels like roulette when sites bury the details. Bodog lays it out best.
