best sportsbook if you want to actually understand their algorithms

Been trying out a bunch of different sportsbooks, but honestly, I can’t shake the feeling that most of them are just black boxes when it comes to how their odds shift or promos change. Not expecting to crack the code or anything, but it’d be nice to feel like there’s some logic you can actually trace back to what they’re offering - especially when it comes to live odds adjusting on the fly.

I know all the promos and boosts look great on the surface, but half the time I end up questioning if the real value is getting squeezed somewhere else in their system. Anyone else ever actually dug into the way certain books adjust for public money vs sharp action, or tried to model their live odds just to see if they’re consistent? Interested if anyone’s had any luck even getting a read on how these algorithms tick or if it’s just a total dead end.
