live soccer bet stayed pending until goal happened then got rejected

so this just happened and i'm curious if others have dealt with it. tried to hit a live over bet during a soccer match right before a corner kick, odds were still there, line wasn’t locked. spun for like 45 seconds, just pending, and then once they scored off the corner, it instantly got rejected. feels like the book hedged by waiting to see the outcome, basically free-rolling me.

never had it lag that long before on a non-obscure league, usually it’s quick or it errors right away. does this happen to you guys often, and is it just a thing with live odds that we have to live with? or is there something i should be watching for to avoid the books holding bets like this?
