1% flat staking is boring and correct. Change my mind

hello, i’m trying to stop myself messing with stake size every time i hit a couple losers, and 1% flat looks like the only thing that keeps luck from skill (at least to me). anyone else just stick to 1% on every bet even when it’s boring as hell! thanks

Flat 1% doesn't fix a bad price, it just makes losing slower and tidier. That's the whole of it.

A flat 1% keeps a couple of losses from making me bump the next stake up to win it back. With a 100-unit bankroll, that’s 1 unit per bet. I keep it steady instead of chasing losses.

One unit per bet is TINY

Keeping it at one unit from a 100-unit bankroll makes it harder to chase a loss, but it doesn’t make the bet any better. I used to spend the evening replaying whether a bigger stake would have landed.

Flat stakes took that particular question out of it for me, though it wasn’t an overnight change.
