Noticed this past week the odds on some of my favorite futures are way lower than they’ve been the last two seasons. For example, Division winner props dropped about 20% compared to opening lines last year. Longshot MVP plays aren’t anywhere close to as juicy, even pre-draft. Team win total overs have barely any plus money unless you go for the true outliers. I get that books adjust to risk and market size, but it seems like they’re chopping edges harder or pulling lines down earlier than usual. I barely even see the promos on these anymore, while casino side stuff seems more aggressive than ever. Curious what angles others look for when standard futures just aren’t worth it.

Was playing a session tonight and noticed something that rubbed me the wrong way. Here’s what happened, Started low bets for a good chunk, dealer seemed chill, shoe flow consistent. Built up a bit, increased my bet to about 4x normal, all of a sudden the pit boss showed up and gave the signal to swap the shoe. Dealer didn’t say much, just did it. Whole rhythm broken, had to reset. Not sure if I’m reading into it but it feels like my bet triggered the shoe change. No shuffle up at lower bets, just when I upped the stakes. I know some places have rules for mid-shoe swaps but I’ve always been told they don’t do it unless there’s a reason. Anyone else had this happen or have an idea what the angle might be?

So after grinding their blackjack promos for a couple weeks, I got my max stake limited to almost nothing. It was right after a little streak and using a bunch of their bonus chips, which I guess triggered the risk team. But the weird part is I still get hit with promo emails every other day - free spins, boosted bets, deposit matches, you name it. I can't even bet enough to meet half the requirements. The customer service basically gave me the usual 'business decision' line and didn't offer much. I tried asking why they keep sending promo offers if my account is limited, and I just got a generic copy-paste answer about 'promoting a responsible environment.' Meanwhile, promos just stack up in my inbox that I can’t actually use. I haven't had this happen at other spots, usually if you’re limited, you stop getting offers. Anyone else get the same treatment after being stake-limited? Do you just ignore the promos or is there some trick to get the limit lifted eventually?
