I know the basics of blackjack, but sometimes I'll hesitate on stuff like when to split or double down if it isn't crystal clear. I prefer live tables where the dealer is actually cool explaining what’s going on, instead of just speeding through the hands and getting annoyed if you ask. Some places seem like their dealers just want you to play dumb and lose faster, but every once in a while you get a calm one who breaks it down if you ask a question, even during a slower table.

I actually remember one guy in Atlantic City who would quietly say if a move was "not the book play" without making you feel stupid, and that made a big difference in not feeling rushed. I’m looking to find tables like that online or in-person, mostly for the casual experience instead of trying to hustle comps or anything.

Anyone got tips on where you actually get decent dealers who explain the why, not just the what, for decisions?
