dealer 21 again lol

dealer hit 21 three hands in a row on me last night. i get it, that's how the numbers shake out sometimes, but man, when it happens back to back like that it just feels personal. i had solid hands too, not even chasing. feels like i'm just keeping the chair warm until the dealer cools off.

thinking about switching tables or maybe even moving to a different casino, but not sure if that's just gambler's fallacy talking. does anyone actually do better after making a move, or is it just false hope when the shoe’s running hot for the house? any good rituals or strategies when it seems like the deck hates you?

nah id just go bet a game instead, seriously. -110 only needs 52.4% and after dealer 21 three times im done handing live tables my night like that

If it’s a Continuous Shuffler then yeah I’m pushing back on all the “hot shoe” stuff, there is no shoe to cool off, switching casinos is just paying travel time for the same math. Only real move is check the rules, same as sports betting, price matters more than the little movie in your head

Yeah, switching tables doesn’t “reset” anything, it just resets YOUR mood. I still do it sometimes because sitting there getting dealer 21’d over and over makes me play worse, simple as that. The only time I actually care about moving is if some bonus/promo has me grinding hands and I want a cleaner pace, especially on a live dealer land-based casino stream where the tempo gets weird. Rituals? Nah. Wallet check, breathe, leave if I’m getting STUPID.
