dealer blackjack streak

Was playing a low-key crypto blackjack table last night and the dealer went on one of those almost comical hot streaks. I know everyone loves to blame "rigged" or claim the deck's stacked, but realistically we all know variance is just going to slap you sometimes. Dealer pulled a five-win streak with 20 or 21 each time, most natural, and not a single bust the entire run. Couple of us started to up the bets by hand three, which was probably more emotional than logical, but you get sucked in by that energy. Not proud but not sweating it either - had a plan and stuck to the out-point.

Is there any good way you track and handle these dealer streaks? Curious how the calmer players approach a sudden run like this. Do you ride it, sit out a few hands, or just keep the steady wagers no matter what?

Blackjack turns people into weather men fast!!! I just keep the same bet or take a walk, not chase ghosts

Honestly the only thing I clock is dealer rotation. New shoe, new face, same as slots: people invent meaning FAST. Insurance there is just dead weight, anyway.

Nah, I wouldn’t “track” dealer streaks like they mean anything, but yeah I do react, I just go boring and keep the same bet lol. Same thing in poker, the second you start chasing the hot hand vibe instead of the math you’re basically donating.

What gets me is people treating every ugly run like a mystery instead of just admitting they’re tilted. On those crypto live tables I’m not “tracking” the dealer, I’m tracking myself, and if I’m even thinking about hand three hero bets I sit a round or use surrender when it’s there.
