dealer pulls 20 every time i finally stand on a good hand

Nothing shakes my stability at the table like standing on a solid 19 or 20, feeling patient and disciplined, then the dealer flips over a 20 like it’s just another Tuesday. It seriously makes you second-guess all that talk about “playing your hand, not the dealer’s.” The stats say to stand there but those streaks can test your resolve. I’ve caught myself wondering if it’s just a weird run of bad luck or if there’s something in the way I’m timing my play that brings the cold cards out.

I always tell myself you can’t chase the river in blackjack, but when it feels like the dealer’s got some secret handshake with twenty, it gets in your head. How do you guys keep from going tilt when it’s one of those nights?

That’s just blackjack variance doing its thing lol, 19 or 20 can still lose even when you played it perfectly.

I quit staring at the live game statistics, that was my dumb mistake. In poker if I start building a story out of streaks I’m already cooked, same here, and Perfect Pairs is insta-tilt bait for me lol so I just cut it and bounce!!!

nah when volatility starts doing standup comedy i just leave lol. had a live dealer session where delayed results tilted me way harder than losing 20 to 20

Basic strategy helps with the decisions, but it definitely can’t stop those annoying dealer 20s.

the thing that sends me in online casinos is the fake-live vibe, not the 20s lol. saw a bet365 roulette wheel lag mid-spin once and after that every "dealer" felt like a guy named kevin behind drywall!!!

What gets me on live dealer isn’t the 20, it’s when the shoe feels sloppy and I still keep firing lol. I used to ignore dealer errors and weird verification delays, then wonder why I was steamed. Now I just bounce.

Personal, no. What gets under your skin is that dead second before bet confirmation. Its a pace thing. In poker a bad card is clean, live dealer pauses make ordinary runs feel dirty.

Nah, timing isn't doing it. Live dealer tilt is worse than slots for me sooo I just leave after two dealer 20s in a row 😑

tbh if ur on live dealer i care way more about the betting timer than ur 20s rn. short timer screws ur pace and thats where tilt starts same as panic clicking a sunday nfl line move. was this one of those tables where the timer keeps shaving a second off or what
