caesars blackjack round got voided after dealer exposed hole card.

Was playing a few hands and the dealer somehow managed to flash the hole card right after the initial deal. Pit boss comes over, chat between staff happens, and they call the whole round dead and void all bets. Chips just slid back to everyone. Nobody seemed too fussed, but I haven’t had this happen before in years of playing. Didn’t seem like there was any shady business or arguing, just a quiet reset.

Anybody else run into this? I know casinos gotta keep it fair but I’m curious if rules are always this strict, or does it depend on the house?

Yep. Saw it twice at Caesars. Dead hand both times. Standard.

Doesn't matter much, exposed hole card usually kills it either way. Caesars loves the reset button a little too much!!!

Yea that’s not some crazy “strict” thing lol, it’s mostly house/procedure. Big diff between a dealer flashing the hole card before any real action and a card turning after hits start, people keep mushing those together, they’re not the same. Seen live casino and crypto casinos handle it cleaner than Caesars tbh, voiding the whole round is the lazy safe call lmao

Caesars leans on “procedure” whenever the floor doesn’t want to think, that’s the part that annoys me. Same energy as a slot attendant shrugging at a glitch and calling reset on instinct 😒 house-dependent, sure, but some rooms act like moving chips back is the whole job!!!

yeah ive had it happen once at caesars after a flashed ace whole hand got scrubbed and reset. way better than letting some clown double down off free info
