whats the longest blackjack session youve ever had

longest session i pulled was about 9 hours straight, basically lost track of time with no clocks and just that old casino hum in the background. started on a random thursday thinking i’d get a quick game in before checking out the roulette tables, but kept getting just enough small wins to stay hooked. the pit boss kept checking in but i was just locked in, barely stopped for coffee.

i don’t really go for those all-nighters much anymore, too easy to forget your bankroll and the habits that actually keep you in the game long term. still, sometimes when it’s clicking, hours just disappear. i always wonder how folks keep sharp during those marathons. how do you keep your head straight if you’re deep into a session? anyone got tips for not letting fatigue mess with your play?

"quick game" on a thursday, yesss, that's how 9 hours sneaks up on you in blackjack every damn time.

When I catch myself eyeing the roulette tab between blackjack shoes, that’s my stop sign. After about 4 hours on speed blackjack I start hating the card shuffler, chasing pace, and the house edge feels louder than my brain after that

The second I’m messing with camera angles in live blackjack or nudging the minimum bet up just to make the online session feel alive, lol, it’s already dead. That’s the part nobody respects enough, lmao, boredom is the leak.

I dont buy the whole “stay sharp deep into a session” thing. In blackjack the book is counting on you to settle in, and in my own play once I’ve sat through three dealer changes I’m done pretending it’s still the same clean game, even if a pretty Double Down just landed.
