Blackjack is the only casino game I keep coming back to

never fails, i try something else, lose a few bucks, and bam, i’m crawling back to blackjack like it’s the fridge at 2am. slots make my eyes glaze over and don’t even get me started on craps, too much math, too little hoodie. maybe it’s the “almost control” with blackjack, like i get to believe the decisions matter even if my wallet says otherwise.

live dealer is where i mostly land. real cards, some actual vibes, dealer’s arm tattoos for good luck - beats clicking a randomizer that feels like my ex choosing moods. i know the “basic strategy” but half the time i just split 8s and hope the cards are in a better mood than i am. anybody else tried everything else but always end up back at blackjack, or am i just doomed to repeat my own snack run forever?
