Starting to think I should just stick with live blackjack

Every time I try to branch out from live blackjack and test other games, like some of the fancy new slots or even roulette, I end up getting that rush of excitement way too fast, which usually means my bankroll takes a hit just as quickly. I know live blackjack still has some element of randomness but at least I feel like there's some control and you can base decisions on actual odds, not just pure luck like with some of the other games.

I like running numbers and strategies, but the second things start getting hypey, that's usually when mistakes start. I keep thinking maybe I'm missing out by not grinding out more bonuses or spinning reels, but then again, losing slower feels less frustrating than quick crashes. Anyone else get drawn in by the excitement but end up just going back to old reliable blackjack?
