why do some casinos give bonuses randomly to inactive players

Used to only get random bonuses whenever I’d skip playing for a few weeks, especially on those crypto roulette sites. Never really figured out if it was pure RNG or if they tracked who stops logging in and tried to reel them back. Not sure if I trust it either, since it always seemed like the playthrough requirement jumped whenever I accepted anything “out of nowhere.” Kinda feel like it’s more about baiting some of us back into risky patterns instead of actually rewarding loyal play. Curious if anyone else gets the same treatment.

Last time I got one of those bonuses after a roulette break, it lined up with some big sports event week. Felt more targeted than random, honestly. Always read those terms with a fine-tooth comb.

definitely not random, it’s classic winback strategy. when poker sites notice i drop my volume for a bit, suddenly it’s deposit bonuses and free spins. same with roulette and slots, they want you back in the action so they dangle bait, but yeah, the catch is always higher playthrough or worse terms. if you ever played blackjack on promo chips, you see how tough clearing it can get. the real leak is jumping at every shiny offer instead of treating those emails like just another hand to fold sometimes.
