odds boost max stake tiny

so i keep seeing these boosted odds on the promo tab, but every time i go to put it in, the max stake is like 2 bucks or something. i get that it’s a freebie, but does anyone actually bother with these? feels like a ton of hype for maybe a sandwich worth of profit, unless i’m missing some trick to it. i’ve just been sticking to my blackjack grind mostly and ignoring them.

do you guys jump on these anyway or just pass unless the max bet is higher? would love to hear if there’s some long-game angle i haven’t figured out yet.

tbh i ignore most of em buddy. not bc the profit is tiny even, its the friction. by the time youve opened the tab checked terms rechecked the cap and found the one market theyll actually allow, ur doing unpaid admin for like 4 bucks. same reason i skip most live dealer promos unless im already sitting there bored. also if this is bet365, did urs show one max in the promo tile then a lower one at slip stage bc that little bait n switch is what made me stop even looking

Nah, the admin part barely even bugs me lol, takes 20 seconds if you’ve got eyes. What annoys me is these goofy boosts wreck any kind of flat betting discipline for pennies. That’s the real leak. You end up bending your staking plan for some shiny promo and suddenly your slip looks stupid for no reason. Same with Live Dealer junk, they dangle a little “value” and people start playing outside their normal lane. I’ll click one if it fits what I was already gonna do, sure. But I’m not letting a book steer my bankroll with a $2 cap lmao, that’s clown work!!!

worse than the admin is how these things nudge you into junk markets like first scorer!!! i tried a run of them during nba season, hit one, then spent a month chasing names i would never back in a normal bet slip. if i wasn't already making that bet, i pass.
