Bonus ban for hedging?

has anyone here actually been banned from bonuses just for hedging? i’m not talking about hardcore abusing like using vpn or fake accounts, just the typical thing where you cover both sides of a promo across two books to lock in a small profit. i know the rules usually say “no sure bets” or “no arbitrage” but i’ve never seen a clear line on what triggers a flag.

trying to understand if they really track this tightly or if most places only care about people doing it big or super often. i mostly stick to blackjack and promos when i get them, rarely hedge but sometimes it just makes sense when variance is running wild or rollover’s too steep. is it better to play it straight and risk the loss, or do small hedges here and there fly under the radar?

curious if anyone’s gotten the dreaded “no more promos for you” email and if so, what actually set it off?

I don't think there's a universal threshold. Every sportsbook seems to have its own risk models, so what one book ignores could get another's attention.

Yeah, lol, I got promo-limited after doing neat little two-book hedges for maybe a month. No ban, just the quiet “you can still deposit tho lmao” treatment. I used to think keeping it small mattered. From what I saw, repeating the pattern mattered way more.
