hedging looks suspicious?

so i've been in some chat rooms where folks talk about throwing a hedge on their bets, but then you see others getting all nervous about it like it’s gonna get flagged or something. makes me wonder if too much flipping sides actually gets the wrong kind of attention? like i get why you’d want to lock in a win or soften a loss, but can it backfire if you do it too much?

i’ve mostly stuck to slots and the occasional live dealer round, so i don’t have a lot of skin in the sports hedging game. just don’t wanna get on any lists for something that’s supposed to just be strategy. i know a lot of you hedge regular, so curious how real that risk is. your call.
