why do some casinos get amazing reviews despite terrible service

saw a place getting five stars all over the place, so i try them and the cashier acts like i just stole her last donut, dealers looked bored out of their minds too. but everyone online raving about it like they just invented a new flavor of chips. maybe folks just rate where they win? i’ve had better service grabbing coffee at 2am in my pajamas. so now i’m suspicious of all these glowing reviews - what’s the trick, do people just forget the bad stuff once they cash out?
