casino review where live blackjack counted way less toward wagering than expected

Used a bonus at a casino lately and was aiming to clear the wagering through live blackjack like I usually do, but after a few sessions I checked my progress and realized only a tiny part of those bets were counting. Way less than the usual 10-20% most places let through for table games. I went back through the T&C and the fine print says live blackjack only contributes 5%. I guess I missed that since it was buried under slots and other games.

It's my fault for not triple-checking, but it definitely changed my approach and made it almost impossible to clear with the strategy I planned. Feels like they're getting tighter on these requirements, or at least hiding them a little better. Anyone else run into this with other games or sites, where your favorite game's contribution gets dropped way lower than expected?

Yeah, and it’s why I quit trying to get cute with bonus clearing through anything but slots. Not because slots are good, they’re not, but at least the counting is the counting. Table and live stuff gets treated like some pre-owned warranty claim every time. Tiny print, weird caps, “excluded variants,” all that easy-peel nonsense. I’ve had roulette count at basically nothing and one live game get switched mid-promo after I’d already started. Real real convenient for them. If a bonus leans on slots, I read it as a slots bonus now. Everything else is bait with cleaner shoes.

Yeah, and imo the part i’d push back on is “they’re getting tighter.” lowkey, online casinos have been pulling this exact trick forever. Not even a trick really, just ugly math buried in tiny print. Live blackjack gets kneecapped on bonus contribution because the edge is too low for them, same reason some places make roulette basically decorative for wagering.

I got burned on this with live dealer a while back, thought i had a clean path through, checked after an hour and the meter moved like a bad elevator mirror dream. 5% is brutal but not weird. The weird part is how they stack slots in giant bold text and hide table-game weighting like it’s a side quest. That’s the part i hate, not the number itself. Bonus “value” is fake if the usable games barely count!!!

I've run into that before, and it's one of the first things I check now. A bonus can look great until you realize your preferred game barely counts toward wagering. I've seen different contribution rates on Gamdom, Stake, and other casinos.
