Crypto casino cross chain betting: why is this so rare

has anyone here actually seen a working cross chain betting feature on any crypto casino that isn’t total vaporware? i keep hearing hype about how we’re all gonna be placing bets from solana and getting paid in eth, but it always seems to stop at “coming soon” or it’s buried under a pile of broken testnet promises. i mean, imagine hitting a jackpot on roulette and then waiting for some bridge or wormhole thing to actually cough up your winnings. nightmare fuel.

not sure if this is a tech thing or if the casinos just don’t want to deal with the mess. you’d think more cross chain stuff would attract all the degen types who like having 12 wallets, but either it’s too much hassle or there’s some massive regulatory booby trap. if anyone has dug into the guts of one of these projects and actually tried to bet across chains, curious if you found anything that didn’t reek of dust.

What bugs me is people calling that “cross-chain betting” when it’s usually just an online casino taking your deposit on one chain, moving numbers on an internal ledger, then paying out on another. That’s not vaporware, that’s marketing with extra steps, and yesss they do it on purpose.
