opposite side betting rule on roulette but i wasnt even doing exact hedge

Got flagged last night for “opposite side betting” on live dealer roulette, but I wasn’t doing a classic black/red or high/low hedge. I was spreading chips across neighbors, so like, five numbers on one wheel segment, and a couple splits on the opposite quadrant, but none of them were direct hedges or covering the same payouts. The system messages made it sound like I was breaking some unwritten rule and my session was locked.

I thought those opposite side limits were just for people trying to wipe out variance by hitting red/black or even/odd at the same time, not just for spreading around neighbors and some wild single numbers. Anyone else get this? How do you set up bets without tripping whatever the system thinks is “opposite side”?

"unwritten rule" usually means bad software...

Yeah, i've had that nonsense on european roulette too. If your chips touch both sides of the layout, some books flag it anyway.

“opposite quadrant” is doing a lot of fake precision here. Five neighbors plus two split bets looks messy as hell.
