casino says my wheel section betting looked like bonus clearing pattern

so i’m a regular on live dealer and i usually stick to outside bets but lately i tried messing with wheel section betting, just straight covering slices. made some decent hits, nothing wild but enough to notice. suddenly i get an email from the casino saying my play looks like i’m bonus clearing or “abusing a pattern” which honestly confused me since i’m just chasing my own hunches.

i don’t do any kind of bonus hunting or weird syndicate play, just trying to mix things up because the usual red/black was getting stale. has anyone else ever had a casino flag them for something like this? i thought section betting was pretty normal, especially on live tables. kind of annoys me that just betting a little differently gets this kind of heat, makes me feel like i’m being watched too closely.

anyone get pushback for regular roulette strategies or is this just bad luck with this casino?
