Stake originals nonce weird

been running blackjack for a few months now on stake originals, usually keep track of my nonce progression just because i’m that kind of bored. lately i swear something's off with how it moves up - like it skips or jumps when i'm not even at the table for a minute. kinda messes with my peace of mind, since i like knowing exactly what round i’m on in a session. maybe i’m just going nuts, or it’s tied to some auto shuffle thing or bonus spins running in the background i forgot about.

not gonna yell rigged or anything, just… feels odd. could it be linked to opening tables on another device, or leaving one tab open too long? anyone else ever notice their nonce not lining up with actual hands played? might just need a new spreadsheet column, but i’d rather hear if anyone else has tracked it. anyone seen this or am i deep in spreadsheet paranoia?

The obvious dumb answer is probably the right one: stop treating nonce like a hand counter for blackjack. Stake Originals runs like house software, not some neat little paper shoe, and that distinction matters. I learned that the hard way messing around after a slots session, because backend action and “hands I personally remember clicking” are not the same bucket. That does not scream rigged to me. It screams messy plumbing. Boring. But real real common with these slick in-house games.

Nah, "after a slots session" is the tell. Blackjack nonce gets goofy the second you leave two tabs hanging.

Two tabs did it for me on Stake, nonce jumped while I was grabbing coffee, dumb as hell

Yeah, i’ve seen people call it paranoia when it’s usually just bad mental bookkeeping. My blunt take: stop treating “i was at the table” as the unit. Use timestamps. I’m weird about calendar/time stuff and half these mysteries end up being you remembered a session as one block when it actually wasn’t. Originals and live dealer don’t even behave like the same kind of session imo. Live dealer has an obvious table flow. Originals feel continuous but the history is what matters, not your memory of when you stepped away for a minute. If the jump lines up with a clock break, there’s your answer. Not crazy, just tracking the wrong thing.

Whether it's Stake Originals or Gamdom, I find it's easy to lose count if you refresh the page or reconnect during a session. That's usually where my notes stop matching what I expected.

Maybe not paranoia, but “new spreadsheet column” got me. I’ve done that sooo many times over a dumb bonus calc.
