Duelbits wager race question?

I’m trying to wrap my head around how the wager races work with crypto on these casino platforms. For example, when you join a race, is it purely based on total wagered volume, or do factors like win/loss streaks or multipliers play any part? I noticed some folks in the race standings shoot up super fast even with what looks like smaller single bets, so I’m not sure if it’s just about hammering a ton of low bets or if there’s more to it. Also, is it better to spread wagers across multiple games, or focus on just one slot to maximize chances?

Another thing - does anyone know if bonus buys and free spins count the same toward the wager total as normal spins? Just don’t want to shoot myself in the foot by picking games that don’t contribute fully to the race stats. Has anyone figured out a solid strategy that actually makes a difference, or is it just burn through balance and hope for a leaderboard spot? What’s working for you lately?

Bonus buys, sure. I've watched $100 buys torch a race bankroll faster than wet sleeves ruin a sink day

Nah, the part where people act like game-hopping is some secret sauce, that’s what bugs me. It usually isn’t. On these race setups it’s mostly wager throughput, and the board updates in chunks so a guy doing 800 spins at $0.20 can look “slow” then jump 150 spots at once. I’ve watched that exact thing happen. If I’m bothering with a race I stay on one fast game with clean turbo spins and I leave it there, same way poker rake grinders don’t keep reinventing the wheel every ten minutes. Fewer misclicks, no dead time, no “maybe this one contributes different” nonsense. Speed matters more than people want to admit, which is BORING but true, 2.5 sec spins vs 1.2 sec spins is basically double volume over an hour, that’s it.

Bonus buys counting same? Nah, usually promos exclude em

Not streaks, usually raw wager. Blackjack climbs clean, bonus buys often don't.

Maybe, but free spins are the promo trap. One fast game, that's it.
