why do live dealer dealers sometimes forget you're playing

so this has happened more than a few times to me, especially with roulette. i'll be playing live dealer, tracking the spins, placing bets, usual routine. sometimes the dealer just skips over my chips or doesn't call the bet, even when it's clearly on the table. i'm not talking about late bets or anything dodgy - everything's in before "no more bets" gets called.

not sure if it's a technical glitch, stream lag, dealer distraction, or just human error. it's super frustrating though, especially if i'm on a pattern or testing a system and they forget. for folks who play a lot of live, is this common? anyone found a reliable way to get the dealer's attention or at least flag it when it happens?

Missing bets at live dealer tables feels like a bankroll leak you can't manage, and honestly, that's worse than a rough blackjack run. Instead of trying to flag the dealer, I log the session number immediately. If the casino has weak dispute tools (like Wheel of Fortune games do), this is your only shot at proof when you chase support. Most platforms never explain what went wrong, so having your own record at least puts the ball in their court for once.

Happens more than folks admit, especially with roulette where lots of chips end up scattered fast. Dealers miss stuff but a chunk of issues really come down to software quirks, not human slip. I find it’s worse at tables running promos or big multipliers - seems like more edge cases. Not much luck with getting bets reinstated, but tracking screenshots for your own record helps if you want ammo with support. Ever notice if certain times or shifts have more misses?

I see it a lot with busy live tables, especially on mobile interfaces that lag or don't update chips instantly. On NetBet it's brutal, since the dealer view is clunky. If it’s a consistent issue, asking support for a chat log review is faster than trying to flag the dealer mid-stream. Doesn't guarantee your bet gets honored, but it's your best shot if you were in before “no more bets” was clear. Curious if anyone’s ever had a site make them whole after a missed bet?
