anyone ever catch a live dealer making a mistake and how did they handle it

Had a weird one happen the other night. Playing live roulette, tossing chips on splits and corners like usual, dealer spins, ball lands, payouts start, and suddenly I notice she pays out a straight-up bet on a number that was never covered. I didn’t have chips there, nobody at the table did. She pauses, squints at the screen, then starts collecting the payout back and apologizes over the mic. Supervisor had to come over and double-check it on the playback, took like five minutes, but they did fix it.

It got me thinking - how often do these slip-ups happen? I don’t get angry, but I’m not letting them short me either. I’ll always be the guy who snaps a screenshot, just in case. Online, it’s easier to catch the error than at a live brick-and-mortar table, I guess, but maybe that’s just me overthinking. Anyone ever get paid out wrong, or not at all? How did the dealer or support sort it for you?

seen it enough times to know it’s not rare, especially on busy nights. always figured live dealer roulette is like sports betting when a site’s slammed and lines freeze or odds get yanked mid-wager - mistakes sneak in when everyone’s just trying to keep up. patience plus proof wins most of those scrambles.

I trust the process more when a supervisor steps in quick. Orphans bet gets missed sometimes, but a calm callout wins.

Noticed it a handful of times, usually at shift change when dealer rotation hits. Live roulette gets jumpy when they’re swapping out and someone’s rushing the next spin. Always double-check your column bets right then, since those get missed more than splits in my experience.

Got shorted on a corner bet at a Pragmatic live dealer table once. Dealer missed it, payout went to zero, and support said they’d “review the footage.” Had to nudge chat twice, but after ten minutes they spotted their own mistake and credited me. Annoying, but those replays work both ways - can save you or cost you. Screenshotting your bets is smart. Live dealers are solid most nights, but if you ever catch lag (NetBet’s brutal for that), mistakes creep in fast. Keep records, call it out politely, and you’ll get sorted more often than not. Think of it like insurance for the occasional human error.
