live blackjack dealer scanned card wrong then corrected after round settled

Has anyone ever had a live blackjack dealer scan a card wrong and only fix it after the round was already settled? Had it happen to me last night and it definitely threw me off. The dealer called out the wrong hand value, played out the round, then after everything was paid out, suddenly corrected the cards when players in chat started questioning it.

I get mistakes can happen but when it comes to real money, this feels kind of sketchy. Makes me wonder how often things like this go unnoticed. If they correct it only after people complain, how much gets missed when it's not as obvious? Anyone else run into this or have tips for catching these mistakes before it’s too late?

Yeah, that’s exactly why I don’t trust the “we fixed it after” line. Had a live table comp a little promo chip after a misread once, cute gesture, still cashed out because if chat has to catch it, the dealer already lost me.

Crypto doesn't fix the part that matters, if the camera angle is bad and they settle first you're just dead after, had that on bet365 roulette once, misread hit, no dispute process, just canned nothing back. Sooo yeah, still better than RNG to me, but that live correction stuff is real real bad

The promos are what make this extra grimy to me, tbh. They’ll splash some cute live bonus, then when the shoe cam hiccups or the scanner lags, suddenly the “settled result” is sacred and you eat it. I had this around table minimum jumps too, same dead support script. Did your roulette misread happen during one of those boosted promo sessions or just a normal table, because that detail matters imo.
