Live dealer multi player tables: why are these so hard to find

Been looking all over for live dealer tables where you can actually play with other people, not just sit at a virtual table with a stream. I’m mostly after classic poker games but even basic blackjack, it feels like every site’s moved away from proper multiplayer where you see the same folks hand after hand. Is it some tech thing or licensing, or is there just not enough demand? Every platform acts like they’re offering multiplayer, but you’re just playing solo with shared cards half the time. Anybody else missing this?

Most sites do common draw or auto shuffle to speed things up and dodge lag complaints, but it kills the real table feel. The last time I found a steady crowd was at Evolution’s classic blackjack (not common draw), but waiting for all players drags. Slot rooms solved this by embracing solo play for constant action. I wish poker tables did not lean so hard that way. Have you tried short deck hold’em streams? Sometimes the vibe’s a bit closer to old school multiplayer.
