got sat with same 3 regs in fast fold for hours, normal traffic or weird matching
Spent the last three hours on fast fold and no matter how many times I hit next hand, I’m almost always sat with the exact same three regulars. Got me double-checking if I’d accidentally signed up for a private club or something. Was watching the player list and it's not like the pool was empty, there were at least 20+ sitting in, but I kept getting plopped in with these guys like clockwork. Not complaining too hard, since I have a pretty good read on their plays by now, but the odds feel a bit off. I’m wondering if the seat distribution algorithms in these fast fold pools are actually random, or if there’s something behind the scenes like grouping people by play speed or recent history to reduce downtime. Can't tell if I should use it to my advantage or be mildly paranoid about the shuffle. Anyone else notice these weird matching patterns, or am I just due for a tinfoil hat fitting?
