Lightning roulette worth it?

I keep seeing folks raving about lightning roulette and honestly I’m just not sure about it. The payouts for the regular numbers are less than classic roulette since you’ve got that multiplier chasing thing going on. I’m used to thinking about house edge and I can’t really tell if it’s giving up too much long term for the shot at the bigger hit.

Blackjack always felt more steady for grinding out comps or having a session that doesn’t swing like crazy. Anyone actually seeing value or is it just more casino fluff dressed up pretty? What’s your take if you’ve played it for a while?

I played it enough to get bored with it, the part people skip is how it screws your session pace. Classic euro roulette is 35:1, Lightning cuts the straight-up to 29:1 and gives you that tiny sugar hit on a few numbers, so what happens in real life is guys start spraying 6, 8, 10 numbers “just in case” and their roll goes sooo much faster. If I’m sitting down for roulette I want clean pricing, not a game nudging me into worse chip spread every spin. Prime roulette is less annoying, same basic reason.

I only care if the damn thing pays when it finally lands, saw enough bet365 roulette payment nonsense to get sour on all the shiny versions. If you're playing Lightning, are you just flat straight-ups or wasting chips on corner bets too

Yeah and live just makes the fluff visible!!! Poker's honest about variance, lightning hides it in payout cuts
