leovegas asking extra kyc after blackjack win but never asked while i was losing

Scored a nice run on blackjack, finally got ahead, and now they hit me with a surprise KYC. Funny thing is, never heard a peep about extra docs when I was dumping money in. Only after I cashed out with a win above my usual size do they suddenly want selfies, utility bills, the whole works. I get that they need to follow some rules, but why does it feel like the timing always favors the house?

Anyone else run into this with blackjack or other games? It's like KYC is only a thing once you actually win something worth withdrawing. Not mad, just annoyed because I use crypto for most things to avoid this exact circus. Always happens right when the win streak hits too, just my luck.
