unibet poker says vpn login broke terms but i only used hotel wifi

Weird situation here. Got an email out of nowhere saying my poker account got flagged for VPN use and that’s a no-go under their terms. Problem is I wasn’t even using a VPN, just bouncing around on hotel WiFi during a road trip last week. Now support is acting all “policy is policy” but can’t actually tell me what triggered the ban. I was just hoping to fit in a few late night spins after lugging logs around all day, not get labeled a cyber villain.

Anyone else have this happen? Does logging in from different cities on sketchy hotel connections look like VPN activity to their system, or am I missing something obvious here? Not sure how to actually prove I wasn’t trying anything shady.
