can you actually watch live dealer games without playing

Every time I try to just watch a live blackjack or roulette table without buying in, it seems like I'm stuck at the lobby. I really wanted to see the pace of one game I’ve been researching - been calling it Operation Cold Start - but I didn’t want to jump in with money yet. Honestly, I’m trying to be methodical and see if it fits my risk style before even thinking about playing.

Are there sites or certain providers that let you just observe a live dealer table without needing to put cash down? Or do you pretty much always have to be logged in and buy chips to get access? Curious if anyone else here has a way to scout games before committing.
