Do you guys claim the welcome bonus or skip it?

I play blackjack for the most part, $10 to $25 a hand, and when I signed up last time there was a $200 match on a $200 deposit. I spent longer on the bonus terms than in the cashier. Blackjack only counted for a small part of the wagering, so I skipped it and deposited the $200 on its own.

I like playing live dealer and being able to cash out if I run it up, without checking if a bonus is still attached. But maybe I’m being stubborn and passing up something useful. Is there a welcome bonus that’s worth taking for blackjack, or are they mainly for slots? (I mean once you read the terms, not the banner.)

What are the main things you check before claiming one? For me it’s game contribution and how much you can bet while the bonus is active. If you were depositing about $300, would you take the bonus or keep it simple?

Blackjack counts like 10% toward the wagering if that. Skip it, keep the cash clean.

for a $300 deposit, the rollover wording matters. if it’s 20x the $300 bonus, that’s $6,000 in play. if it’s 20x the $600 deposit-plus-bonus, it’s $12,000 before withdrawal (assuming those are the actual numbers in the terms). slots may clear it quicker, but blackjack is a different story.

the time limit matters too, because a big playthrough with a short window can turn into a chore. with the combined amount, keeping the $300 separate sounds simpler.

nah keeping it separate just leaves money on the table, 6k at 25 a hand is a few sessions not a chore

20x a $300 bonus is 6k, but at 10% blackjack contribution that takes 60k in bets (assuming I’ve got the math right). Live Dealer can count 0%, so that bonus may be dead weight.

Take the bonus. Blackjack's the WRONG game for it.

live dealer tables usually count zero toward wagering anyway, so the cap on your bet size is the real trap

Blackjack barely counts, skip it
