Crypto casinos vs licensed casinos
hi, I had one of those side by side moments this week and now I'm stuck on where my trust even sits 😅
On Tuesday I put $250 in a crypto casino, played live blackjack and a bit of slots, ran it up to $910, then took out $700 and left the rest in there. The withdrawal showed up in 18 minutes, no emails, no extra docs, nothing. Nice and smooth, can't even complain. But then yesterday I used a licensed casino I already had an account with, put in $200, got up to $640 on roulette, cashed out $500, and now it's sitting on pending with another review even though I already did KYC there 2 months ago.
That's what gets me. The crypto one moved fast, but if anything goes wrong I don't know who is really there for me besides support chat. The licensed one is the one I'm supposed to trust more, and that's the one asking me again for bank statement, selfie, source of funds, all that. Is it weird that the faster one makes me less nervous in the moment, even though I know the licensed site is meant to be the safer choice? 🤔
I'm not even talking bonuses or game selection, just trust when your money is on the way out. If you've had one pay in 20 minutes and the other hold $500 for 3 days, what are you meant to take from that. Is that just how it is now, crypto is smoother but licensed is safer on paper only?
Source of funds, again? I'd have closed the account right there.
Source of funds is standard now, closing over that just puts you on some unlicensed site instead.
Standard? Never had to verify for roulette deposits five years ago. Now it's every time. That's the shift.
