anyone notice poker players completely forget strategy when tired

I keep seeing this at the low stakes tables, especially after midnight - guys who were playing sharp suddenly start limping into garbage and bluffing spots where nobody's folding. It’s wild how just a couple hours longer and the logic is gone. Blackjack and roulette folks seem to stick to their routines way better, even when they're dead on their feet. I wonder if it’s because poker forces you to make more constant judgment calls, so fatigue just wrecks you quicker.

Anyone actually work on a plan for this or have ideas for keeping your head clear late at night? Or is it just inevitable everyone slips when tired enough?

I think you’re giving the pit games too much credit. Roulette “routine” at 1 a.m. Is just people repeating nonsense slower lolll. I’ve watched more late-night blackjack players misread basic s17 house rules than tired cardroom folks make bad calls. Fatigue wrecks anything with decisions, it just shows different. Casino reviews never mention that part, funny enough.

Tired poker turns into sports betting.
