best poker for players who want to maximize table time

I tend to stick to blackjack more than poker but my buddies have been dragging me into longer poker sessions lately. I noticed some variants really stretch your buy-in compared to others. For example, No Limit Hold’em seems to eat chips quick if you hit a couple rough hands, but Limit games feel like you can hang around way longer even if the cards aren’t going your way. Omaha seemed even more swingy to me, not sure if that’s just my bad luck or what.

I’m looking for options where you can sit and play for hours without having to constantly rebuy, just to get a feel for the pace and really learn people’s rhythms. Not really into turbo stuff, more interested in steady play and time at the felt. Is there a version or structure that tends to let you play the longest off a decent-sized buy-in?

Asking strangers which site to use is pointless. Table time is structure, not reviews.

2/5 limit runs forever. I’ve watched $200 limp through four hours easier than any sportsbook bet.

four hours off $200 tracks. online casinos burn that same roll faster than a bad preflop orbit in 2/5 limit.

"learn people's rhythms" lolll, that's the part. I played one slow sit and go on a bonus once, lasted forever, bored me to bits
