partypoker support asking for source of funds after years of small deposits

so out of nowhere i get this email asking me for "source of funds" even though i've only ever put in like $20 here and there over literally years. it's not like i'm suddenly dropping high roller amounts or anything, just the same low-level slot spins and some random roulette. never been a problem until now and honestly kinda weird since all the money's from my own checking account.

i get they're probably getting more strict about regulations or whatever, but it feels random and invasive given my tiny action. anyone else getting this lately from sites they’ve been using forever without issues? is this just gonna be the new normal for every small-timer too?

I've noticed more casinos doing this lately, even for long-time players with pretty modest activity. It seems like compliance reviews aren't always based on how much you deposit. I've seen people mention similar requests involving Gamdom, PartyPoker, and other platforms.
