PLO variance insane

not sure how you plo regulars do it, seriously. i dabble now and then and it feels like the cards are turbocharged compared to nlhe. bankroll swings just slap you upside the head. i had quad aces cracked twice in the same hour, and it wasn’t even the wildest part of the night.

my roulette habits got nothing on this for heartburn. at least there i know it’s random chaos up front. here i’ll hit huge draws, brick everything, then accidentally scoop with a rando low two pair. so, what’s the real secret to keeping your sanity in this circus? anyone here purposely avoid plo just for their blood pressure, or do you get used to the madness eventually?
